On December 4-7, 2023, the virtual congress of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) 2023 “Complications of diabetes and diabetes in crisis” was held in the capital of Belgium, Brussels. At the congress, specialists invited from different countries made presentations on the topics of endocrinological pathologies, complications of prediabetes and diabetes, their prevention and treatment. Aliyeva Aygun "Use of the glucose tolerance test index in a new screening method for diabetes and prediabetes" and Ismayilova Sevil "Is 140 mg/dl for a 2-hour oral glucose tolerance test that good for diagnosing prediabetes?" presented their topics. Part of the results of studies devoted to research work on screening, diagnosis and treatment of diabetes and prediabetes, conducted under the leadership of the head of the department of therapy, has been announced by Ph.D. Valeh Mirzazadeh. At the end of the report, many questions were asked. The research work aroused great interest. At the end, our employees were awarded the corresponding IDF 2023 certificates.
