Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs
Ph.D., docent Meybaliyev Mammadali Talat studied at the Azerbaijan State Medical University in 1974-1980 years. After graduation he worked at Imishli district as a doctor, on hygiene of children and teenagers. In 1984-1987 years he attended post-graduate course and after graduation began to work as an assistant at the department of Social Health and Organization of Hygiene and Hygiene of Teenagers of ASATID. In 1988 in Moscow he had defended master thesis on topic "Hygienic substantiation of physical education with the active development of functions that are relevant to labour training of students". In 1990 he became a docent in the department. Since 2006 he is pro-rector of ASATID on scientific works and since 2006 he is a director of the Department of Hygiene.
Vice-Rector for Economic Affairs
Hasanov Ikram Rahim was born in Gedebey district of Azerbaijan in 1960. He educated at the Azerbaijan University of Construction and Architecture during 1977-1982 years. He worked as an engineer in 1982-1983 and served at the Soviet Army in 1983-84 years. Since 2009 he is a Deputy Rector for Economic Affairs in the Azerbaijan State Institute of Advanced Training of Doctors named after A.Aliyev.
Vice-Rector for Residency
Hasanov Ilgar Alikhan studied at the I-treatment and prophylactic faculty of Azerbaijan Medical Institute named after N.Narimanov between 1978-1984 and graduated with honors. By the decision of the Academic Council, he started to work at the Medical Institute, and from 1984 to 2011 years, he worked in various positions in the Central Scientific Research Laboratory and the Department of Histology, Embryology, and Cytology, and headed the Clinical Histology and Cytology laboratory of the Medical University. From 2011 to 2016, he worked as a doctor-pathomorphologist in medical institutions. From 2017 to 2021, he was the head of the Pathocytomorphological Laboratory at the National Oncology Center of the Ministry of Health, and at the same time, from 2016 to 2022, he was the director of "Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation" program and the head of the department at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sports. Since December 2022, he has been acting as the vice-rector of the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A.Aliyev (in charge of residency education, cooperation with medical institutions and international relations).
After postgraduate studies in 1989, he defended his Ph.D ( Ph.D in Medicine) in I Moscow Medical Institute named after I.M.Sechenov and in 1998, he defended his doctoral thesis at the Tbilisi State Medical University. In 1995, he received the scientific title of "docent", and from 2003 to 2011 years, he worked as a professor in the department at the Medical University.
In 2010, he received the honorary title of "Honored Teacher".
He is the author of 315 published scientific and methodical works and 7 practical proposals. He is the scientific supervisor and advisor of 3 doctors of sciences and 23 Ph.D.
From 1986 to 2017, he participated in numerous scientific events in different countries, as well as trainings, seminars and courses in the fields of histology, pathology, and oncology.
His main scientific researches are related to diffuse endocrine system histology, interleukins secretion, experimental histology, gynecological morphology, placental pathomorphology, tumor, pre-tumor and tumor-like disease morphology, peripheral vascular pathomorphology and blood cytochemistry.

Scientific Secretary of the Institute
Bakhtiyarova Lala Bahadur graduated Azerbaijan State Medical University in 1984. After clinical ordinate period she began to work as an assistant at the Department of Nephrology of ASATID in 1992. She had defended master thesis in 1994 and since 2000 she is a docent of the Department. She had written more than 40 articles on actual problems of nephrology such as kidney and pregnancy, diabetic and uretic nephrology, fast progressing glomerulonephritis, etc. She is a scientific secretary of approbation seminar since 2000 and a scientific secretary of ASATID named after A.Aliyev since 2006.
Dean of the Faculty of Terapy
Ph.D., docent Guliyeva Zemfira Mehdi had been accepted to clinical residency of the Department of Pediatry of ASATID in 1987, defended master thesis in 1994. She works at the Department of Therapy as an assistant (1991) and docent (since 2001). Doctor Zemfira Guliyeva takes an active part at scientific research and educative works conducted within the department. Since 2005 she is a dean of the Faculty of Therapy. Currently she works over Doctoral Thesis on "principles of modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of acute intestinal infections causing emergency cases at early childhood period". She is an author of 69 scientific publications, 36 articles, 2 methodical manuals and 1 text book.
Dean of the Faculty of Surgery
Ph.D., docent Nasirova Rimma Ilyas educated at the Faculty of Pediatry of the State Medical University named after N.Narimanov during 1977-1983 years. After graduating of residency course she worked as resuscitation doctor at the Hospital of Infectious Diseases in Ganja from 1984 till 1987. She had attended clinical residency at the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of ASATID and was an aspirant of the same department during 1989-1992 years.
She had successfully defended master thesis on "anti stressor components of anesthesiology at orthopedically and traumatology diseases of patients in childhood period" in 1992. During 1992-1998 years she worked as an assistant at the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of ASATID and since 1998 she is a docent of the department. During her working period highly performed for development and improvement of specialists on anesthesiology and resuscitation. In 1998-2003 years she was scientific secretary of Dissertation Council and since 2009 she is a Dean of the Surgery Faculty.
Dean of Faculty of Medical-Prophylactics
Ph.D. Karimova Konul Majnun studied at the Faculty of Medical-Prophylactics of the Medical University in 1992-1998 years and from 1998 to 1999 passed the course of the internship at the Centre for Hygiene and Epidemiology. In 1999-2009 years she worked as a doctor at the Institute for Lung Diseases Research Laboratory, and later worked as a scientific secretary. During those years worked over scientific research work on topic "Comparative evaluation of methods of laboratory diagnostics of tuberculosis infections of children in modern times" and in 2004 defended that thesis. She is an author of 12 scientific publications. Since 2009 she works as an assistant at the Department of Laboratory Work of ASATID named after A.Aliyev. In 2011 she had been appointed to position of dean o Faculty of Medical-Prophylactics.
