The international scientific congress “Mother and child health: a modern view of current problems” took place

On November 27-28, 2023, the international scientific congress “Mother and Child Health: A Modern View of Contemporary Problems” was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The organizers of the congress were the Department of Medical Services of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Scientific-Experimental and Training Center of the Central Customs Hospital.
At the opening of the conference, the head of the medical service department of the State Customs Committee, Doctor of Medical Sciences, honorary doctor, Major General of the Medical Service Jeyhun Mammadov, head of the Scientific Experimental and Training Center, Department of Medical Services of the State Customs Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Health Committee of the Milli Majlis, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Honored Doctor Rashad Mahmudov, Deputy Minister of Health, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Nadir Zeynalov, Chairman of the Family, Women and Children's Affairs Committee of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Associate Professor, Professor Hijran Huseynova, Director of the Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Ministry of Health, Director, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Professor Jamilya Gurbanova.
On November 27, 2023, presentations were presented by specialists from the UK, Turkey and Azerbaijan on topics of current problems of modern obstetrics and gynecology.
On November 28, 2023, presentations were made in the 1st section “The latest recommendations in neonatology”, in the 2nd section “Controversial and sensitive issues in neonatal resuscitation” and in the 3rd section “Urgent and urgent situations in pediatrics”. At the pediatric meeting, Nigar Hajiyeva, associate professor of the department of pediatrics at ASATID named after A. Aliyev, noted: “Lymphadenopathy in children. What tests should we do? What should a patient-centered treatment regimen look like?” gave a report on this topic.
