On September 15-16, 2023, the international scientific and practical congress “Modern approaches in dermatovenerological and aesthetic medicine” was held in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. About 1,000 experts from 15 countries took part in the congress. The event was of great scientific and practical importance and played an important role in establishing scientific and practical connections between dermatovenerologists and cosmetologists from different countries.
The President of the Dermatovenereologists Association of Azerbaijan, Dr. Sanan Kerimov, who heads the Department of Dermatovenereology of ASATID named after A. Aliyev, was represented by the staff of the institute. Sanan Kerimov's report on the topic “Psoriasis and metabolic syndrome” was received with great interest by the congress participants.
