On April 28, 2023, the 100th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist, Academician Zarifa Aliyeva will be celebrated. The highest qualities: sincerity, generosity, caring, demanding first of all to oneself, then to others, unity of word and deed, unquenchable love for her people and Homeland were the characteristic features of Zarifa Aliyeva. She has been at the forefront of medical science and healthcare throughout her life. In recognition of her invaluable services, Khanum Zarifa Aliyeva was elected as a full member of the Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan Republic and was also awarded orders and medals.
A long period of scientific activity of Academician Z.A. Aliyeva was associated with the Department of Ophthalmology of Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute named after A. Aliyev. She was promoted from assistant to the head of department.
On April 20, 2023 ASATID named after A. Aliyev will host a scientific and practical International conference with the participation of scientists invited from Russia, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the outstanding scientist Academician Zarifa Khanum Aliyeva. A collection of conference materials will be published. Articles and abstracts are accepted in Azerbaijani, Russian and English until January 30, 2023. The volume of articles should not exceed 3 pages, and the volume of synopsis 1 page: A4 format, empty margins of 2.5 cm on each side, font 14, Times New Roman, interval 1. Articles and abstracts should be submitted in hard copy (one copy) and in electronic (CD) version together with a summary of the articles.
