From October 29 to November 2, 2022, the 6th Congress of the European Confederation of Ear, Throat, Nose, Head and Neck Surgeons (CEORLHNS) was held in Milan, Italy. About 3,000 scientists from different countries took part in the work of the Congress. Azerbaijani otorhinolaryngologists were also represented by a delegation of 5 people. Associate Professor of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A.Aliyev, Ramil Hashimly, who represented our country, took part in the scientific work of the congress as a scientific speaker on the topic “Biomechanics of the larynx of mugham singing” and as a moderator in the discussion “Oropharyngeal dysphagia: best practice in assessing and treatment”, which was the first at the CEORLHNS congresses. At the same time, our employee, who is the Secretary of the Board of the Azerbaijan Society of Otorhinolaryngology (ASO), actively participated in the discussion of current problems and future plans regarding the specialty of otorhinolaryngology, representing the ASO at the meeting of the Board and the General Assembly of the Confederation.
