From February 7 to 12, 2022, a week of strengthening the emergency aid system is being held in the republic, organized by the World Health Organization, the Ministry of Health and the Azerbaijan Medical University. As the first event, a symposium on the topic "Emergency medical care system and emergency medicine in Academic training" was held at the Azerbaijan Medical University. Rector of the Azerbaijan Medical University Garay Geraybayli, Deputy Minister of Health Nadir Zeynalov, WHO representative in Azerbaijan Hande Harmanji, representative of the State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance Araz Nasirov spoke at the opening of the symposium.
The event is attended by 120 qualified doctors from different districts and cities of the Republic. The participants of the event were divided into small groups of 10 people and joined master classes at the Clinical Medical Center according to a special program. Associate Professor of the Department of General and Plastic Surgery of the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev, m.s.d. Ilaha Akbarova, senior laboratory assistants of the Department of Therapy Sevil Ismayilova and Aygun Aliyeva this week got acquainted with "case management", "emergency department management", methods of managing 6 cases often encountered in emergency care (respiratory distress, trauma, chest pain, sprains, abdominal pain, shock), as well as modern medical procedures, including cardiac arrest or life-threatening cardiovascular diseases. They attended courses to get the latest information about elimination with medications and methods.
