Laparoscopic abdominal surgery is one of the most effective methods of modern medicine. This reduces the number of complications after surgery, reduces the recovery time and simplifies the rehabilitation process, reduces the time of hospitalization and does not leave rough cosmetic damage on the skin. In order to master these operations, for the first time in several years, courses of invasive surgery are held at the Department of Surgery of the ASATID named after A. Aliyev. To date, more than 200 patients have participated in laparoscopic courses, studied the technique of these operations. At this time, surgical operations are performed on dummies and on simulators using laparoscopic instruments. Currently, a 10-day course “Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery” has been started at the Department of Surgery. During the training, lectures and video lectures will be given on the scientific foundations of laparoscopic surgery, experimental classes will be held on the study of laparoscopic habits, the technique of performing individual operations and live properties will be demonstrated. The course will also include exercises on pig liver and gallbladder to make operations more complete and bring them closer to real life. At the end of the course, applicants will be issued a certificate.
