A study entitled "Vitamin B12 deficiency in type 2 diabetes and prediabetes" was successfully completed at the Department of Therapy of the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after Aziz Aliyev under the leadership of the head of the department, Doctor of Medical Sciences Valeh Mirzazadeh. The research report was presented online at the 29th International Diabetes and Endocrinology Conference on April 17, 2021 in Zurich, Switzerland.
Aygun Huseynova, assistant of the department, made a report on the deficiency of vitamin B12 in type 2 diabetes mellitus and pre-diabetes in Azerbaijan. The scientific supervisor of the work was the head of the department, doctor of medical sciences, Valeh Mirzazade.
